Born and raised in Southern California, I bring the same values to interior design that I strive for in life: more honesty and authenticity, less stress and fuss, and an abundance of inspiration. With a background in painting, my approach to design is deeply rooted in artistic expression. I think of myself as an artist before a designer, crafting spaces that reflect individuality and tell meaningful stories.
My designs draw inspiration from my cultural upbringing and Japanese heritage, as well as my frequent travels to Mexico and my husband's Mexican heritage. These influences, combined with an appreciation for the nuances of the human experience, fuel my passion for creating interiors that resonate on a personal level.
When I’m not designing, you can find me practicing yoga, working in the garden, or spending time with my children. These moments of connection and mindfulness shape the way I approach my work, cultivating a sense of balance, beauty, and authenticity in every project.
